| Giants produce big fourth inning to run away from Atlanta 8-2
SAN FRANCISCO, May 11 () -- Brandon Belt's two-run double highlighted a six-run fourth inning Friday that launched San Francisco to an 8-2 clubbing of Atlanta.The Giants produced seven of their 11 hits in the fourth while sending 11 men to the plate. Belt then doubled to right to score both Posey and Pence and the onslaught continued with an RBI single by pitcher Matt Cain and a two-run base hit from Marco Scutaro.Cain (2-2) struck out seven over eight innings and gave up two runs on three hits to pick up the victory. |
