| Danish patrol boats getting electronics upgrade
LONDON, Sept. 10 () -- Terma, the Danish aerospace and defense company, has been contracted for the midlife upgrade of the Danish Navy's offshore patrol vessels.During the four-year project, THETIS-class offshore patrol vessels will be fitted with SCANTER 4100 radar units and C-Flex command & Control Systems. C-Flex will support the full mission cycle in maritime domain security and surveillance by integrating the shipboard sensor and weapon systems to generate a real-time situational awareness display that can be shared in full over data-link. Its monetary value was not disclosed.Terma said it will deliver four SCANTER 4100 radar systems, with an option for an additional four systems for training use.
