JODI: Saudi oil exports up in January
RIYADH,[url=http://www.christianslouboutinsales.com]Christian Louboutin Men[/url], Saudi Arabia, March 18 () -- Saudi Arabia delivered more crude oil in January than in December, though there's been a general decline, the Joint Organizations Data Initiative says.JODI, a collection of government statistics compiled by the International Energy Forum in Riyadh, said Saudi Arabia delivered 7.09 million barrels per day in January, the last month for which data are available. That's up 30,000 bpd from December, but 5.5 percent lower than the same time last year, reports Bloomberg News.The U.S. Energy Department's Energy Information Administration said in its March report that Saudi Arabia sent 920,000 bpd to the United States for the monthlong period ending Feb. 22, almost 40 percent less than it did during the same time last year.JODI added that Saudi Arabia burned nearly 5 percent less oil than it did in January than the same time in 2012.The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries said in its March report that it expected U.S. oil production to grow as demand from member states declines. EIA said U.S. crude oil production topped 7 million barrels per day at the end of February.
