| Report: Philadelphia Flyers sign Mark Streit to 4-year contract
PHILADELPHIA, June 17 () -- The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to sign soon-to-be free agent defenseman Mark Streit to a four-year contract, broadcaster TSN reported Monday. The Canadian sports network said the deal for the 35-year-old blueliner was worth $5.25 million per year. The former New York Islander was set to become an unrestricted free agent when the rights to sign him were dealt by New York to Philadelphia last week.In exchange,[url=http://www.trueireligion.com]True Religion Sale[/url], the Islanders received minor-leaguer Shane Harper and a fourth-round pick in the 2014.Streit notched six goals and 21 assists in 48 regular season games this season while adding two goals and three assists in six playoff contests. |
