| Boston Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy reveals reoccurrence of cancer
BOSTON, April 11 () -- Jerry Remy,[url=http://www.homactus.com]Cheap Dr Dre Beats[/url], Boston Red Sox broadcaster and former second baseman, revealed in an interview his recent treatment for a relapse of lung cancer.Remy, 61 and a longtime smoker, had surgery in 2008 to remove a cancerous area from his lung,[url=http://www.wa7788.com/]Louboutin Men[/url], The Boston Globe reported Thursday.In an interview Wednesday on NESN with studio host Tom Caron, Remy said, "A little thing bubbled up and they thought it was time to do a biopsy on it, and the biopsy came out positive. So I was diagnosed again with cancer," adding the biopsy was a different part of the lung from the surgery."Right now I'm fine. Last time I had cancer and depression. This time I've been diagnosed with cancer but it's under control," Remy said in the interview. |
