| Scorsese to present Brooks with AFI Lifetime Achievement Award
LOS ANGELES,[url=http://www.jimmychoooutletonlines.com/]Jimmy Choo Wedding Shoes[/url], May 20 () -- Director Martin Scorsese is to present Mel Brooks with the American Film Institute's 41st Life Achievement Award,[url=http://www.jimmychoooutletonlines.com/]Jimmy Choo Shoes Sale[/url], organizers announced.The private black-tie gala will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood June 6. The ceremony is to air on TNT June 15 and as part of an all-night tribute to Brooks on Turner Classic Movies July 24."Brooks will be recognized for his range of mastery as a director, producer, writer, actor and composer," AFI said in a news release.Among Brooks' comedy classics are "The Producers," "Blazing Saddles" and "Young Frankenstein." |
