but oh how I love being sockless,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
I like Jack Purcells in addition to Chucks, and that i possess a couple pairs of Keens--including this sandal-type shoe which comes in a men's version too,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I'm eyeing a set of these,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], more of a trail-runnerish shoe, that they also make for men.

Do you wear women's shoes? If so: I'm fond of my new Timberland Pacific Crests,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I can't find them on-line anymore; LL Bean has a version of these, called the "Adventure Cross Straps." (Washing the feet with plain ol' soap each morning and evening should take care of the smell, by the way.)

puma mostros are stylish,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], very comfortable, and are available in mesh.

Okabashi. I've worn little else, aside from work, for years. I may be moving to a much colder clime than South Carolina's within a couple years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and my poor feet will have a huge adjustment.

I loved wearing my Vans slip-ons sockless through out summers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however I became paranoid about my feet after watching How I Won the War.

Stan Smiths will always be a fave (and not that clamshell toe crap either),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but the leather might get a bit hot sockless.
Nike Cortez are great too. Plus they are available in plenty of colors,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!

If you're feeling cheap,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Target has some awesome knock-off chucks (the cute laceless kind) and regular converse for around 10$. I believe these might be worn by women or men, but I suppose its your call. I like these because once they get beyond-cleaning-stinky, I don't feel guilty throwing them out. Being an added bonus, I personally find them more comfy than regular cons.

I've never worn Keds, but they must provide you with that Chucks-style light canvas feel, as well as in a minimal top, at a lower price ankle sweatiness.
I just bought two pair of new shoes; the ones that would qualify for sockless wearing will also be asics - this area calls them Gel Enduro. Lots of mesh, very light.

When i write this I am about 120 miles NW of you and wearing a classic set of without socks. Other, cheaper brands are well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], although I wear mine into the ground.
