I have only used the dashboard mount [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] which has not come off one time and I’ve had it attached for about two months. Customer service is really lacking. It also came with a windshield mount, but that puts the phone too far from my face so no one can hear be properly.
I really like the design idea, but I do not like the material, it is hard plastic, very easy to break, or get melted under high heat from direct sun. Works really well, holds my Epic phone without fail. [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] I can’t speak for the vent mount because I haven’t used it. I purchased a second mount for our other car. It works well and holds on tight. My phone hasn’t fallen a single time.
I’ve heard the clip doesn’t reach far enough into the vent to work, but I don’t use it. I wouldn’t have written this review unless it was [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] five stars or zero. The suction cup holds well, too – I have to agree with a previous poster that this unit holds better than my Garmin suction cup as well. Maybe for cars with soft suspension it does better. The shaking was non-stop as soon as I was doing 20 mph.

It doesn’t matter whether you have a cover or case on it. The only problem might be if your phone has side buttons you need to access while driving. I would pay more if I ever [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] had to replace and that pretty much says it all. Going through bumpy roads, the mount starts rattling loudly, which is also annoying. Other than that, it [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] is a good product that helps me focus on the road. And it is very adjustable. I can view the phone [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] in the landscape or portrait mode.
I’ve only been using this for a day but it seems very secure. I honestly feel that I won’t have trouble with the mount dropping my phone, and the only thing I’m wondering about long-term is how well the suction cup holds using the sticky pad. Both are for Samsung Galaxy S Vibrants on T-Mobile with the black T-Mobile rubber/gel case. One is installed in a 2005 Acura TL and the other is installed in a 2008 Acura MDX.
