Most of us are aware by now of the phones featuring in the list of top 10 mobile phones available in the UK at the moment. We have phones like the iPhone 5,giuseppe zanotti pas cher, the Samsung Galaxy S4,barbour france, the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the Sony Xperia Z,hollister deutschland, the Google Nexus 4,woolrich outlet milano, the Nokia Lumia 920 and so on.
This article will look at some phones just outside the top 10. Good phones nonetheless. Phones that are worthy of notice and often a little bit cheaper than the top premium phones. We’ll have a look at some of their features and functionality, and how they stack up.
The Ones that Didn’t Make It Into the Top 10 Mobile Phones List
The Huawei Ascend G330
This phone is a decent all-rounder. Its performance is smooth, mulberry outlet online, and it’s able to run even the most demanding applications extremely competently because of the power contained within. Many feel it isn’t particularly enticing aesthetically, and isn’t too nice in the hand, louboutin pas cher, but the display is extremely good and it is a compact, barbour coats, sturdy, decent quality device. It’s much better than the old predecessor the Ascend G300 and rarely suffers from any sluggishness in performance or glitches.
Our verdict: this phone is certainly a good budget phone, with a price tag of around 100 pounds. Its power, specifications, and performance make it an extremely good value phone for anyone looking around this price bracket.
The Samsung ATIV S
Build quality and specifications on this phone are excellent, as are the storage options. It comes with Windows Phone 8 installed, which means you won’t get as many applications as you would on an Android phone, but will see more apps coming in the future. It looks sleek, giuseppe zanotti soldes, stylish and certainly is reminiscent of the premium end Samsung devices. The removable battery and micro SD storage are real pluses and it is a very competent Windows phone device. It’s not always available here in the UK in all outlets, but is a good alternative to the Nokia Lumia series.
Motorola RAZR HD
Motorola have fallen short in the smartphone market over recent years but this phone packs a punch. It isn’t as good as the top premium phones as it doesn’t have a quad core processor, it has a dual core, but then it is cheaper than the top phones available right now. It’s priced around the same as a Galaxy S3 currently stands. You’ll get a very clear high definition screen, a good operating system and a battery life that will last well over a day. Combine with this the fact that you can get a connection to your TV with the HDMI port and you have a pretty strong proposition for an entertainment device. You can also change up the covers to suit your personality. The phone is speedy, smooth, and offers a pretty good mobile experience.
The Sony Xperia S
Now Ericsson is out of the picture, Sony is able to take full control of their design and manufacturing. They certainly have made a good fist of it and the Sony Xperia S is a cracking phone with a very long list of positive features. It has a high definition screen, barbour, a 12 megapixel camera, a decent processor with dual cores. It really is a very good phone from 2012. On top of all this there’s a lot of good software that comes with the phone and usable right from the box. This means you don’t have to jump into Google Play to get some of those critical applications you want to use.
The only real challenge for the phone, apart from perhaps the plastic casing, is the battery life, which may not always see through a day. If you use it fairly sparingly, and don’t spend a lot of time streaming and on bluetooth, then it should get you through 24 hours though. All in all this is a cracking phone for the price, and one that you can certainly choose if you’re looking for a phone in this price bracket.
The Motorola RAZR I
The RAZR I is another very good Motorola phone to hit the market. The RAZR series has been around for a long time without making much impact, but they keep working hard and with their partnership with Google seem to be moving forward apace.
With expandable memory storage up to 64GB and the ease of use with the Android interface, this is a good option. An often overlooked important feature is the phone’s signal. This phone does very well and provides an excellent internet service and pretty good call quality. This is certainly a phone that you would recommend to your friends and family and has fantastic specs, air jordan pas cher, good dimensions, and in fact it’s only the high price that keeps it out of the top 10 mobile phones list.
So there you have a look at 5 really good phones that didn’t quite make the top 10 mobile phones list. They’re all very good and capable devices that can often be bought at a price point around half to two thirds of that of the premium phones; some of them for even less. As they get superseded by other models and new technology comes out, they’re going to get cheaper and cheaper. So watch out for deals on auction websites such as Ebay, hollister outlet sale, supermarkets, deal comparison websites and the mobile operator websites themselves.
Top Tip
Make sure that you check out the mobile coverage of the different operators before you commit to a phone. Even on Pay as You Go phones you can’t always change the sim card. It takes a sim free phone or unlocked phone to be able to do that, so make sure that you don’t get tied in to a network with your phone that you cannot get a decent service on where you need to get it. The best way is to check service is on coverage checker sites, and the mobile operator websites themselves, where you simply put in your post code and find out what connectivity is available.
In addition, ask your friends about what their service coverage is like on mobile broadband and calls and this can be a good indication on how yours will be if they are located near you. In addition, hollister, some mobile operators and service providers will often offer the opportunity to try out the phone for a few weeks without full commitment. This coverage guarantee will mean that you can take a phone back if it doesn’t meet your required standards.
