Tebow was brought in with much hype during last off-season,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], supposedly to be the backup to starting quarterback Mark Sanchez and to provide a spark in other ways,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], such as running the team's wildcat package.
But he ended up being rarely used by the Jets coaching staff and was passed over by No. 3 quarterback Greg McElroy when Sanchez was benched,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a situation that allegedly caused Tebow to refuse to take part in the wildcat offense late in the season.
All of which leads us to where we are today,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with the once-worshiped Tebow being mocked by sporting goods store employees. And a mannequin -- that one wearing Sanchez's No. 6 is looking pretty smug,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], don't you think?

This is in very poor taste. I just bought a set of Burner golf clubs from Dick's for $499 and 3 dozen balls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but you know what? They are still sealed in the box and within the return period. So,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are going back tomorrow and I'll drive over to Edwin Watts and get a set there. Even if I didn't like Tebow (and I do like him),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I would still not like this display. It was disgraceful enough for Mr. Tebow to be humiliated by Rex Ryan and the Jets franchise. This display is completely unnecessary and if I were in upper management,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I would fire whoever made the decision to create this mockery. I have been a customer of Dick's for years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I will never shop there again.
