Denise Richards designs shoes for charity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Denise Richards has put her best foot forward and designed two pairs of heels for a kidney cancer charity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The American actress teamed up with ShoeDazzle to produce footwear in aid of the brand's Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity.
Denise worked in collaboration with young teenager Taylor Filorimo - known as Tay - who had been suffering from exactly the same strain from the ailment that took Denise's mother in 2007.
The pair worked together to raise money for that Kidney Cancer Association, but sadly Tay passed away in September.
"Tay loved fashion,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and it was exciting for her to create a shoe for ShoeDazzle to assist raise money and produce awareness to this rare type of cancer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Denise told People magazine. "Tay's grace and positivity as she battled the condition was truly inspirational,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and something I'll always remember."
Tay's shoe is named after her and features crystal embellishments and a hidden platform,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and also a special interior colour she created named Pray 4 Tay green.
The Denise shoe is light-pink and strappy as well as boasts crystal embellishment,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Both styles have Live 4 Tay stamped inside,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in memory from the late teen.
