Im just curious as to what women of my age (im 25),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], im not even sure if there are any of my age on these boards, think of these brand name jeans that cost over $150 on men. I'd find a nice pair of jeans on sale or a pair of inexpensive Levi jeans before dishing out that much.
To each their own. Everyone has their own sense of fashion,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Just depends in which group you fall. High End Fashion. Affordable Fashion. Cheap Fashion. I am more into the Higher End Fashion and it comes with a price. I enjoy that but that's me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. All I know is that I do get noticed more and respected more since I made the switch a few years back. My 3 cents,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

Go for something that you can still wear in 3 years. True Religion is not such a jean, especially those with the embroidered pockets. They are over-the-top trendy, and 3 years you'll be wishing you got something more subtle. I would almost place 7 For Mankind in that category, though they seem to have staying power. 3 years ago everyone was all about trucker hats and Von Dutch.
Try Earnest Sewn, 575 Denim,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Genetic,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Nudies, etc. Just nothing too outlandish. The $200 is money well spent so long as you wear them a lot.

I'm a guy into fashion and I think spending over a hundred dollars on a pair of jeans is outrageous. I'd find a nice pair of jeans on sale or a pair of inexpensive Levi jeans before dishing out that much.

I don't see a real need to spend more than $50.00 on a pair of Jeans. I think the most I've spent on jeans before has been $80.00 at an American Eagle store. While my friends give me a little crap for wearing Arizona Jeans,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are cheap and they are just as fashionable as the next line of jeans. What seems to be really popular for a young guy like myself are the "retro" faded out jeans, especially with holes and crap in em', and it seems like practically every jean company offers this now.
People "may" be more likely to "notice" you if you are wearing high end fashion, but people may see you as a vain individual. making you less approachable.
The bottom line is that you can still look good wearing cheaper clothing. Just keep your eye out for sales, of course if I see designer jeans on sale for a reasonable price I'll purchase them over what I typically get (usually Arizona Jeans).
It's well into the realm of "OBNOXIOUS consumption".
If you need to spend that kind of money to look good, you should just surrender to the reality of your ugliness.
If you need to spend that kind of money to feel good about yourself,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], seek professional help. At least then the money won't go to support sweatshops.
Very much like when I see someone driving a Bentley,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I can't help but wonder if that big chunk of money could have actually brought some good to the world if the individual weren't so self-absorbed and OBNOXIOUS.
