Rock 'n' roll footwear on show at CNE

All are from the private collection of Toronto podiatrist Hartley Miltchin,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who has made collecting celebrity footwear a bit of an obsession.
Miltchin owns about 350 pairs of shoes once worn by celebrities and sports figures,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including Chubby Checker's custom black-and-white checkered boots and a pair of Shaq O'Neal's size 23 Reeboks.
The CNE has asked him to loan the shoes with a rock 'n' roll pedigree for its exhibit The History of Rock and Roll,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

"I have included shoes/boots from as far back as the custom-made Chubby Checker boots he used to do The Twist on American Bandstand to more current, Eminem shoes," Miltchin said in a press release.
The podiatrist, who has made his career out of treating foot pain,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], said he was "thrilled" to loan shoes for the exhibit.
His collection includes footwear worn by John Lennon,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Jackson 5, Elvis Presley,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Spice Girls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne.
