BG: DD turned 10 a few weeks ago,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], well she got moved up to the senior cheer team (1017), Jr team is 612. I'm not really happy about the move up for several reasons but we'll see. One being she is the only 10yr old on there, the next youngest is 12.
Ok so tonight is her 2nd night practicing with them. On the way home we're talking about school shopping. I say that I want to run to Gap this weekend to see if they have polo's yet (they wear uniforms here). DD proceds to tell me that Gap isn't one of the "acceptable" places to get uniform shirts from!! WTF? She says it very sincere and innocent like she really believes shirts can't come from Gap. So I asked her who told her that, and she says the girls at practice were talking about where school shirts need to come from. I keep encouraging dd to try other sports in hopes she'll find one she loves and drop cheer all together. She's a great tumbler but afraid of bars/beam. I'm also encouraging her to try golf and swimming
