|BOBS from Skechers
It's always refreshing when a company steps up to do good, woolrich deutschland women online shop, which is what the latest project from Skechers is all about. BOBS from Skechers is a recently launched line of shoes that promises to do some good in the world, discount 2013 giuseppe zanotti sneakers on sale, as Skechers promises to donate a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purcahsed.
Now if this sounds familiar, don't be surprised. Another company with a guy's name has been doing the same thing since 2006,parajumpers vest outlet, and the similiarities are, at times, a bit too much. Both products are spelled with all capital letters,Femmes Duvetica Soldes, both have tags on the back and side of the shoe, and the shoe styles themselves are incredibly similar.
The tags that come with a pair of BOBS say that the line was "inspired by the good deeds of others" and that "we believe we can make an impact that's unsurpassed - reaching more children worldwide than ever before."
Read into that whatever you like, but it certainly seems as trying to capitalize on an established and successful idea. "Inspired by the good deeds of others" certainly leaves a good amount of room for interpretation. Maybe Skechers is hoping is that their blatant copying will be overlooked by the charitable aspect.
The BOBS collection is comprised of the Canova, Oxford sneakers with a woven denim-style upper; the Alderney, a Chambray canvas espadrille; the Current,Woolrich Parka women, a casual sneaker/boat shoe style; and the Drake, a simple slip-on style.
Skechers sent over a pair of the Alderney Bournemouth espadrilles to try out as part of this article.
The shoes are elegantly simple, with an understated design perfect for going sockless on warmer days. The cushioned leather insole is comfortable if a bit minimal - you certainly won't confuse it for the cushioning in a premium pair of running shoes,http://giuseppezanottisneakers.webmium.com/, but it's enough to keep your feet feeling good.
The BOBS also have a drawstring that helps give the shoes an adjustable fit - something that comes in handy if you're in between sizes or doing a bit more walking and don't want the shoes slipping off your feet.
The second issue is the tags on the back - logos are generally frowned upon in this column,Peuterey outlet, and it's no exception in this case, as well as for the original line of shoes on which BOBS seem based. Fortunately,http://woolrichoutletitalia.albirank.net/, it seems that the tags can be snipped off to clean up the look of the shoes a bit.
On their own,Doudoune Duvetica, BOBS from Skechers are a good casual shoe - comfortable and understated with a pledge to do some good in the world when you purchase a pair. While it's hard to fault that, it's also tough not to overlook what a blatant rip-off they are of TOMS shoes, giuseppe zanotti men's sneakers for Sale, and recommending a product that looks to capitalize on another company's ideas just doesn't seem right. But take your pick and let your conscience guide you to the right shoe - it's hard to wrong either way.
